Artificial Ecocriticism I: Ecological Inequality in the Mechanocene

인공자연 생태비평Ⅰ: 기계세의 생태 불평등

Lee Yong Wook · Jeonju University

Editorial synopsis

This paper examines ecological inequality in the Mechanocene through the technological environments described as Artificial Nature. Lee brings questions about algorithms, platform power, and nonhuman agency into ecocriticism. Case discussions address the reorganization of physical and sensory environments, emotional influence, and automated user experience. The argument extends attention beyond material resources to the distribution of sensation, information, and attention, proposing sensory ethics and cognitive justice as directions for critical humanities research.
